Strikers FC General Info

 

Summit Strikers FC

Summit Strikers FC is the competitive arm of High Country Soccer Association.

         The Spring of 2021 SSFC will be fielding teams for Under 11 Boys, U12 Boys, U13 Boys (2 teams), U14 Boys and U11 Girls, U12 Girls, U13 Girls and U14 Girls which play in the Colorado Youth Soccer Leagues. For U9 & U10 players we will be running an Academy Program. All SSFC coaches are licensed and will provide quality training for the selected Summit Striker players.

Under 11, U12, U13 & U14 Teams

The Season runs from early August until mid/ late May; with a break from the beginning of November until the beginning of March. Players must be committed to both the Fall and Spring portions of the season to be placed on a team If you are selected to participate and accept, the first practice will start the week of August 1 with games starting the weekend of August 22nd & 23rd, 2021. Fall games and practices will run through the end of October. We offer indoor training sessions in the winter. Spring practices start indoors once a week in early March until fields are cleared, then twice a week. Spring games start weekends mid-March – away games until late April. Home games late April until mid May. Summit Striker teams practice twice a week for a 1 ½ hours either on Mon & Wed or Tues & Thurs from either 4 to 5:30 or 5:30 to 7pm. Half of the games are played at home in Summit County and the other half are played away at location around the state, primarily the Front Range. Games can be on Saturdays and Sundays. Teams will have 16 games (8 Fall games & 8 Spring games). Cost is $830 for the entire year, partial scholarships and payment plans are available. If your child is offered, and accepts a roster spot; a $100 non-refundable roster commitment deposit is required by June 10th. Balance of $830 less deposit is due by August 21st. Acceptance of a roster spot and initial payment are an agreement to play both Fall and Spring Summit Strikers FC. Partial scholarships are available; forms must be turned in at tryouts. Invoices will not be sent out. 

U9 & U10  SSFC Academy Program

This is a step to improve your soccer skills and prepare you for competitive travel soccer. The program will run Friday nights starting late April through early June and late August through early October. Cost per player is $150 in the fall and $125 in the spring , which includes licensed staff training an academy jersey and soccer ball. The Spring 2021 Friday sessions are held at Kingdom Park from 6:15-7:30PM.
Players are also encouraged to sign up for the HCSA Fall & Spring Recreational league as this is not a team, it is additional training.
